CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr. Sharon Link Wyer, M.Ed. MBA in Process
I am the Senior Principal and Lead Learning Designer for Leadership via Design. My work has mainly focused on developing practical, customized learning solutions for national and international clients in a variety of industries across the organization. Technically astute and aesthetically talented professional looking to channel these strengths into challenging instructional design, course development, project management, and user support. My Ph.D. is in Leadership Studies. I bring a research-based theoretical lens to learning environments through pragmatic, scalable, and strategic program design and instructional development.
Professional Info
I have worked with a myriad of global companies from coast-to-coast, including universities and Fortune 500s to assess needs, identify gaps, write original learning content, author eLearning courses, participant guides, learning objects, and as a Subject Matter Expert on topics including: all types of education courses, leadership, business management, organizational behavior and development, human resources (including compliance, diversity and inclusion, and for all academic levels, including graduate and doctoral audiences. Several of these courses met Quality Matters standards, and were instrumental in helping the institution meet accreditation standards. I previously did Instructional Design work for Celgene Pharmaceutical in New Jersey, so I am aware of what it takes to create learning to promote patient outcomes and innovative approaches. As the author and teacher of an accredited Instructional Design Certificate Program, I am able to collaborate with the Learning and Development Team to explore new approaches and alternative technologies to facilitate ongoing improvements.
